• Not everything works out to your liking

Question of the Day: Why do people make empty promises?
I had booked a week off for vacation at the end of November and was hoping to relax before crunch time during the Christmas holidays. Initially, the plan was to go on vacation with my grandparents. But due to the H1N1 it’s probably better they don’t make any travels, they’re old it may be too risky.

So, I approached my friend and we decided to go on vacation together instead. After a week of trying to figure out where to go we decided on a final decision of Vegas. I went ahead and made all the reservations. Two days later, my friend decides to change plans on me due to some work that came up in the middle of the week that he needed to deal with. So I said ok that’s fine, we’ll just cut the trip short instead of 1 week we’ll just go for 3 days. I was pretty nice about it and was fine with changing things around. He even reassured me that he is committed and he was sorry that I needed to accommodate.

Once again, I went and changed all my reservations and rearranged everything. Another 2 days go by, he tells me he can’t do it because his patio shack came in ready for pick up and it will cost him too much so he shouldn’t leave the country. Do you even need patio furniture during the winter time? I don’t think so. Lies.

At this point, I am just angry. I always get taken advantage of in so many ways.
My theory: Some people are just all talk.

Being unhappy doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world

Every night i come home from work and i just feel negative. I don’t want to be here. I hate it. I’m not even sure when i developed this feeling or when it all started, but i think it all has to do with my mom. Yes, i still live at home with my parents. Typically, it’s normal for the unwed daughter to be living at home until they get married. Recently I have developed a lot of anger and frustration towards my family. I’ve almost hit the point where i just want to pack up and move out. I’m unhappy i know, but what am i going to do? I feel like im just slowly going crazy from all of this. Dealing with family, can be one of the biggest challenges i have to face. Let’s just hope it doesn’t get ugly by the end of it.

  • Sleeping with the Ex

    Sleeping with the Ex

Sleeping with your ex. Is it weird?
The ex, you know the significant other that you once wanted to marry. I’m not saying you’re still in love with them, but they do hold a place in your heart. I like to call it the case of Mr. Big, if you’re a sex in the city fan you know what i am talking about. So you guys broke up and now are friends. Happily as friends i might add. You both moved on with your lives, very Content. But one crazy night you end up sleeping together. Now let’s not even bother getting into the whole cheating issue because that’s not valid in this situation. Just focus on the sex part. First time it’s ever happened since you guys broke up, it’s been 2yrs, weird. You end up shrugging it off. A month later, same thing happens again. Ok, it’s getting a little weird are there feelings? Or maybe it’s just hormones and alcohol. You shrug it off. Another month, once again it happens again. OK this time you bring it up, is it love? what is it? No answer. Is it weird? The question is, does the one you once loved always end up being your safety net and sex is simply something you always feel towards with each other without even needing the words?

Top 10 Break Up Lines to Avoid

Question of the Day: Why did we break up?
Breaking up, the scariest words in a relationship. After every break up you replay the scenario over and over again, asking yourself the same questions. Every time you think about it, you just don’t seem to be able to find a problem. So why did you guys break up?

Top 10 lines you should never say when breaking up
    10) Why are you leaving me?
    9) I treat you better than I treat myself.
    8) Can we still be friends?
    7) Why does every single one of you leave me?
    6) I am going to kill myself
    5) After all we’ve been through, this is how you repay me
    4) I gave you my virginity. You need to take responsibility.
    3) Can we hold off on the breakup? Give it another 2 months?
    2) There is no reason for you to break up with me.
    1) I should be the one breaking up with you. Not the other way around.

My theory: Don’t question the break up, everything happens for a reason. You never know what is waiting for you around the corner.

  • Replicas Deal or No Deal?

    Replicas Deal or No Deal?

Question of the Day: Why do people like replicas so much?

Purses, watches, sunglasses, clothes. Anything goes, there is a fake one out there. I understand not everyone would spend thousands of dollars on something made in a sweat shop, but if that is the excuse then why do you need to purchase a replica? Why not just walk to the closest Walmart and pick up a pair of sunglasses for 5 bucks, that blocks the UV and matches your nail polish colours. Or that pair of sweat pants without that upside down wig that no one even sees and skidadle.

I was at the hair salon the other day, he told me many rich people actually specifically buy replicas just because it is convinent. Even though they can afford the real stuff easily. They much rather have a set of replicas to wear casually and keep the real stuff at home. I guess everyones lifestyle is different, not going to judge. Big Smile

Personally, i am a brand name shopper, and if you ask me why i purchase them. No it’s not JUST about the name, i buy them because i actually like the design and style. To me it’s either you have the money or you don’t. If you see something out of your budget but you’re in love with, make some sacrifices. If you want something bad enough, you will do anything to achieve it. I believe it is the most simple system that works, it is a give and take kinda world. Stop those replicas now.

My theory: If you’re in need of something, before you buy that replica think of the alternative buy something that represents you not just what everyone else on this planet already has.

    Can you tell the difference?

  • House Centipedes inside the house

The first time i encountered a house centipede was probably last year around Fall. To be honest i didn’t even bother looking up what it was, i just wanted it out. I remember it was on the ground right beside my dresser. It was huge, and it reminded me of a thinner version of a chubby caterpillar. So, basically i screamed for help. Boyfriend to the rescue! Yes.

A month later, another one  was right outside my bedroom door. I opened the door and there it ran. It was fast, it was smooth, i was in shock. So once again, i screamed for help. Cat to the rescue! Yes

Last night, While i was checking my e-mail last night, a medium sized one ran across my desk and literally stood still right beside the monitor stand. I was terrified and extremely worried that it could mean some kind of infestation, requiring pest control. But whatever, calling pest control was the last thing on my mind. I quickly grabbed my cell phone, turned on the flash light function and stared at the twitching antennae. Bad move, it ran behind the wires on the monitor which happen to be black, now it was almost camouflaged. At this point i turned on every light i have in my room, but nope couldn’t reach over to squish that little thing. Not to mention, i really don’t want to be touching that thing with my hands so i had to be very careful. After 5mins of the staring match between me and the bug, it made its move and finally went on the wall. *Squish!* Good bye little fellow. May you rest in peace!

This doesn’t look like something you want in your bedroom right?  This link should help give you a general idea what it is. Ewwwww.

    Looking for a Halloween Costume

    Looking for a Halloween Costume

Halloween is approaching quickly and I have picked out a costume! It was probably one of the hardest years to decide on a costume for me.

I started off with either Disney Princess, Females in Batman, Female super heroes or show girls. Went to the local drug store to find a cheap costume, I thought maybe I can just modify it to save some money. I got there and there was nothing!

After the drug store problem, I went to the mall. This is when I discovered those accessories store, the ones that are $15/3 or $10/5 those ones! It is the PERFECT place for costume shopping!! I will be going as a bunny, yes not so creative but I couldn’t resist those cute ears and tail. I bought the rest of the Costume at La vie en Rose. Went over my budget completely and ended up spending $150 in total. But will look good for sure!! Pictures to come! =)
